Abstract
The Parantica sita is a Danaidae butterfly, which is a relative of the Monarch butterfly, called Asagi-Madara in Japan. Like Monarchs, they fly a long distance over the island of Japan. Shot in by Mitch Denda in Shichimi Onsen, Japan on October 22, 2005.
