Productions, the producer of the exciting new documentary, "Movement With A Meaning" profiles Lula Washington, Artistic Director of Lula Washington Dance Theatre, which she founded in 1980 with her husband Erwin Washington, as a much needed creative outlet for minority dance artists in Los Angeles. Her dream was to create a repertoire company that would perform the works of the legendary pioneers in African-American dance and as well as her own unique, risk-taking, eclectic choreography.
